Arran Dairies was started by the Dobson family in the 1930s, supplying milk from their small, on-farm dairy in Brodick, Isle of Arran. Generations of the family continued to grow and diversify the business and in 1999 they started manufacturing ice cream from the great quality milk and cream they produced. What started as an artisan venture has grown in popularity, now supplying retail and trade customers across the UK and winning multiple national awards for quality, taste and flavour.
To create a new brand identity that more accurately represents Arran Ice Cream’s unique qualities, gives them greater visibility in an increasingly crowded sector, with a visual identity that will support their ambitious plans for the future.
Microclimate, maximum taste.
Putting provenance at the heart of the brand. Arran’s unique microclimate provides the perfect conditions for their happy cows to graze. Their naturally rich and creamy milk is then carefully churned in their small dairy to create Arran’s distinctive dairy ice cream. The new cloud logo signifies the importance of the island’s weather and environment. It hovers within the vibrant, illustrated world of Arran Ice Cream, inviting you in, to tell the story of this homegrown tasty island treat.
